My passion is helping individuals who have experienced trauma, abuse, loss and grief. I believe that we are all perfectly imperfect and everyone deserves love, compassion, and unconditional positive regard. You are worth fighting for and you hold the key to your happiness, you don't realize it yet.
I will support you and encourage you to be the best version of yourself.
You've taken the first step to obtaining happiness by seeking support. It's a challenging journey but you will find the greatest reward by putting in the work. My goal is to encourage self reflection and healing from within
in order to relieve symptoms of distress, enhancing functioning and coping, and to live authentically with a greater life satisfaction.
Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) - over 4,000 hours supervision
I received my Master of Social Work (MSW) in 2016 from the University of Washington School of Social Work, followed by thousands of supervised hours post-graduation. My Training included Interpersonal Violence, Child Welfare, Substance Use Treatment, Spiritual Grief and Loss, Trauma Focus CBT, and continues to grow.
Real life experience
I have 9 years of experience providing counseling, psychotherapy, psychoeducation and group therapy focused on depression, anxiety, stress management, life transitions, trauma therapy, grief, and loss.
I believe everyone has the right to mental health care, including the right to be in a safe space to process your feelings, life experiences, and current challenges. it is important to be able to process your life as well as self-direct the type of care you are seeking. I believe in primary healing aspect of mental health counseling is someone who can listen with empathy and unconditional regard for you and your experiences. This healing should happen in a safe space with a professional who can empower healing and enlightenment.
